Below we have some "Happy Campers" who've gone so far as to have matching pink T-Shirts with "Happy Campers" written on the back. Now that's making a statement!

The following is a poem submitted by the "Happy Campers".

Happy Campers

We are the Happy Campers
We’re happy all day long
If anyone looks to be a bit sad
We’re known to break into song

At breakfast in the mornings
We’re like the cat that’s got the cream
When the challenges are issued-
“Have you got your bean”?

We are the Happy Campers
It’s forecast in the runes
That if you haven’t got the bean
You spin the ‘Wheel of Misfortune’

Eat marmite and banana
On toast, just for a joke
Or wear lipstick for an hour
But that’s just for blokes

This year we have a sports event
Olympics here we come
Japan, Small Blacks, Korea, USA
- And here’s Jamaica mahn!

We are the Happy Campers
It’s a motto that we have
In an awesome camp like Spencer Park
With hosts Andrea & Gav.

So thank you for the memories
Thank you for the cheer
Thank you for the company
We’ll see you here next year.
