Spencer Park

Spencer Park is right next door! This huge public domain has many areas of interest.

There are large picnic and barbeque areas, and large grass areas for those popular picnic games.

 

There's a substantial adventure playground - lots of things to climb and swing from, which is very popular with the older children.

 

For the younger ones there's a large sandpit with an area where 'fossils' can be found buried in the sand. Have you seen a youngsters face when they find a 'fossil' animal?

 

The large sandpit has various items to swing and sit on too, and there's a digger...

 

There's a wheelchair swing as well as the usual sort.

 

Not far away is a young children's paddling pool, suitably fenced off and featuring a sheltered seat for Mum and Dad to watch from.

 

And the sand volley ball court is very popular!
