Brooklands Lagoon

The Seafield Park walkway winds it's way along the Brooklands lagoon. it's around 3km to the end at Brooklands and along the way are several lookouts with great views.

The lagoon is tidal and a haven for many species of birds.

At the Brooklands end, where it connects with the Waimakariri River, the lagoon is deep enough during the high tide period for several hours of water skiing.
